Green Energy Incentives

Rebates and Tax Credits

The solar energy industry is rapidly growing in California because it offers favorable incentives and tax credits for installing solar powered systems to your home or business.
Solar power is a low-risk, high-return investment.  To encourage people to use solar energy many states are offering incentives that are usually in the form of solar rebates.   In California these rebates can cover a considerable portion of your solar system installation costs.  In many cases, solar installations can pay for themselves in as little as five years and are subsidized with cash rebates, a 30% Federal Tax Credit, and accelerated State and Federal depreciation schedules. Currently the US government is offering homeowners with solar powered systems a one-time federal tax credit.

To get more comprehensive information on California’s incentive programs for both renewable energy and energy efficiency, plus any available local and utility incentives, contact us or go to the DSIRE (www.dsireusa.org) the Database of State Incentives for Renewable & Efficiency.  Please note that some areas may qualify for additional incentives through local municipal utilities.
Create Green Energy Inc. makes switching to solar power easy.  We will take care of the necessary building permits, rebate applications, utility interconnect agreements, warranty paperwork and will provide you with tax credit/depreciation advice so that you can minimize your out-of-pocket system costs.

State rebates can pay for a significant portion of your solar powered installation cost.  However, rebates are always decreasing with time as popularity increases.  To keep updated on California rebates go to www.sgip-ca.com,
